Solar Keratoses

Also called actinic keratoses or sunspots, solar keratoses are skin growths caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. They most often occur on sun-exposed areas of the body, such as the face, scalp, neck, lips, and back of the hands.

Sunspots symptoms

Solar keratoses are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. People with fair skin are more susceptible to developing sunspots as they have less melanin. This damage accumulates over time and can lead to actinic keratoses.
